Photos from the Spring Equinox Walk

My old faithful friends are gonna rest for this walk......

Brand new boots

The first stage.....Making my way into the hills

Resting with some wild daffodils although it looks like I'm squashing them....

An trail across a peak

Snowdrops

And up close the centre is really beautiful.....

Whose footprints are these?

Old waymarkers...The one on the left strangely says "mud"!

A wee beastie has sharpened its teeth on an old rabbit bone.....

Early bluebell in my camp

Base camp on night one

Gotta get a firewood stash sorted before dark...

No-one up yet and I'm ready to rock

A yew tree up on the southern ridge

Weather closes in and the views shrink

A (possibly man made) cave with a hand print just visible mouth sprayed in the back.

My new troglodyte home....Great rain shelter......

Yep...I'm moving in

St Anne's Holy Well

My narrow ledge for the second night

Morning sunrise on day three

Sun returns to the ridge

Beautiful views at the southern end over St Anne's Well

Worcestershire Beacon re-visit....Yesterday with Chris the weather was too wild for a shot

Rainbow appears

Looking south from the north end of the hills

The ancient white leaved oak grandmother

My gift....I've collected broken china since I was a child

We sit together
